The heart: Everest engine
The machining portal
- Solid U body of polymerised concrete with vibration-damping, noise-reducing and dimensionally stable properties
- Vertically opening front hatch for easy access to the machining cell
- Fully encapsulated machining cell with closed coolant and lubricant circulation
- Integrated recovery of liquid medium with solids separator
- Low-noise and low-emission operation with low maintenance requirements
The tool spindle
- Newly developed 240°-swivelling dual spindle for holding one rough and one fine machining tool:
- This enables a complete machining process without changing tools and without interrupting the process
- Variable rotary speeds between 5000 and 80 000 rpm depending on material
- Tools gripped with high-precision Weldon quick-clamping system
- Laser measurement of tool position
Milling/grinding tools
- Milling and grinding tools specially developed by KaVo for the desired materials:
- Reinforced 6 mm shaft for maximum stability and vibration damping
- Special milling geometries and special coatings for long tool wear and long service life
The gripping yoke
- Intelligent, automatically operating tool gripping
- Quick-change with fully equipped plug-in unit
- Replaceable workpiece grip
- Exact fixing with quick-clamping system

It’s your choice:
Processing quality at the highest level
Perfectly shaped and functional occlusal surfaces are the most important factor for an attractive and useful dental prosthesis. The professional shaping and fabrication of the occlusal surface is one of the most important tasks of the dental technician. This task is made easy to the smallest detail with the KaVo Everest® engine with its 5-axis technology.
How easy it is to achieve excellent results
Maximum precision with practically no refinement of the milling
Overnight production with restorations up to a full jaw from an economical circular blank with retention bars
CNC controller
High-performance CNC based on the latest PC technology
5 simultaneously controlled axes
Short block and cycle times < 10 ms (calculation speed)
Gripping yoke for 2 bridge constructions

Replaceable workpiece grip
Exact fixing with quick-clamping system
Gripping yokes for two circular blanks, up to 50 units
Embedding system
The Everest system is the only available laboratory CAD/CAM system with a special embedding procedure that allows the production of frameworks and restorations without additional marginal thickening or the necessity to cut off retention bars.
Restorations can be produced up to maximum 60 mm of anatomical length.
Circular blank production
For longer restorations or to create restorations overnight, Everest now offers production with circular blanks.
Gripping yoke for up to 16 units
